Meditation in Saratoga Springs

Eight Habits for Happiness

Tuesdays · 7-8:30 pm with Charlie Stuart

Happiness is a habit that can be trained. One of the most simple, potent, and accessible ways to do this is by training in loving-kindness. In this eight-week series, we will look at eight different loving-kindness meditations that will help us develop confidence, relax, and improve our relationships with friends, family, and coworkers.

We will emphasize how to integrate these meditations into our daily activities. And we will feel empowered to use these practices throughout the rest of our life.

This course is based on the text Eight Steps to Happiness, which is a commentary to a thousand-year-old teaching called Eight Verses of Training the Mind–a beloved, timeless set of instructions on how to train our mind transform. It is perfect for modern people just as it was perfect for people many years ago.
